I am a trained hypnotherapist and Psychotherapeutic counsellor based just outside West Malling in Kent. My course is also accredited by AIM Awards and the Royal College of Nursing. I genuinely care about my clients and treat each person who walks through my door as an individual and never impose a “one treatment fits all” approach. You are a unique individual and my commitment is to listen to your challenges, however big or small, and then treat accordingly.

My Promise To Each Client Is:

  • To listen

  • To provide professional care and empathy

  • To offer you a calm and restful space, where you will be supported through your transformation

  • To bring caring, compassion and non-judgement to whatever challenge you are experiencing

  • If needed, to safely support you through crisis to the other side

  • To help you have more meaningful connections in your life

  • To enable you to feel joy again and feel excited by all the possibility and potential in your life.

I do all of this in a relaxed, comfortable and safe environment and work out of a beautiful, private cabin located in my secluded garden, called The Therapy Cabin. This spacious and tranquil space is the perfect place for privacy and relaxation. There is also free off-street parking and air conditioning.

Why Did I choose To Become A Therapist?

I have always loved caring for people since my early days as a nurse working for the British Nursing Association. Caring for others must be in my genes, because even after giving up nursing due to having a family, I still found that people seemed to naturally gravitate toward me for support and guidance. In fact, I’m often told I am a good listener and that something about my energy seems to act as a magnet for people to relax and open up to me.

Whether you choose hypnotherapy or counselling, one of the things I love best is helping you release the issues, which are affecting your health, your quality of life, your professional goals and your relationships. My aim for you is to leave The Therapy Cabin feeling hopeful, supported, and excited by the future.

What Makes My Approach Different?

After leaving the British Nursing Association, I retrained as a beauty therapist where I ran my own successful business for 25years. I believe it’s this experience in working with people for so long, that has given me the ability to naturally put people at their ease.

As well as being friendly and relaxed, every person who comes to see me is treated in 100% confidentially and with my utmost professionalism. At the same time, I do my best to create a beautifully supportive atmosphere where you feel safe and comfortable.

Working on the childhood negative messages we were fed, for example; messages we were told in childhood that we have attached meaning to that still play out in our minds today, is one of the areas I am most passionate about and something I’ve had to personally get to the bottom of and address in my own life. For various reasons I emerged from childhood with deep, emotional scars and crippling low self-worth which I carried long into adulthood with me.

Luckily, with the use of both hypnotherapy and counselling I was able to self actualise and reach an acceptance about what happened and release any trauma from my past. I was then able to make more empowering choices and embrace a brighter, more confident future. This has helped me to where I am today – which is living a more meaningful connected life, enjoying better relationships with others and understanding my needs and boundaries. I feel joy every day and as a result, my life is quite different from what it used to be. This is what I want for you. It is possible and it’s why I am now so passionate about helping others live their best life.
